Each of these sites has multiple recipes
for dandelions, both raw and cooked. I like to pick fresh dandelion
greens from the backyard and add them to salad where the lettuces are
softer and sweeter. The fresh dandelion gives the mix a bit of tang and
bite.

- The first mention of the Dandelion as a medicine is in the works of the Arabian physicians of the tenth and eleventh centuries, who speak of it as a sort of wild Endive, under the name of Taraxcacon. In England, there is allusion to it in the Welsh medicines of the thirteenth century. Dandelion was much valued as a medicine in the times of Gerard and Parkinson, and is still extensively employed.

Dandelions to the rescue!!
By Peter Gail Original source
Suppose
your doctor tells you, on your next visit, that he has just discovered a
miracle drug which, when eaten as a part of your daily diet or taken
as a beverage, could, depending on the peculiarities of your body
chemistry: prevent or cure liver diseases, such as hepatitis or
jaundice; act as a tonic and gentle diuretic to purify your blood,
cleanse your system, dissolve kidney
stones, and otherwise improve gastro-intestinal health; assist
in weight reduction; cleanse your skin and eliminate acne; improve your
bowel function, working equally well to relieve both constipation and
diarrhea; prevent or lower high blood pressure; prevent or
cure anemia; lower your serum cholesterol by as much as half; eliminate
or drastically reduce acid indigestion and gas buildup by cutting the
heaviness of fatty
foods; prevent or cure various forms of cancer; prevent or
control diabetes mellitus;
and, at the same time, have no negative side effects and
selectively act on only what ails you. If he gave you a prescription for
this miracle medicine, would you use it religiously at first to solve
whatever the problem is and then consistently for preventative body
maintenance?
All the above curative functions, and more, have been attributed to one plant known to everyone, Taraxacum officinale, which means the "Official Remedy for Disorders." We call it the common dandelion. It is so well respected, in fact, that it appears in the U.S. National Formulatory, and in the Pharmacopeias of Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, and the Soviet Union. It is one of the top 6 herbs in the Chinese herbal medicine chest.
According to the USDA Bulletin #8, "Composition of Foods" (Haytowitz and Matthews 1984), dandelions rank in the top 4 green vegetables in overall nutritional value. Minnich, in "Gardening for Better Nutrition" ranks them, out of all vegetables, including grains, seeds and greens, as tied for 9th best. According to these data, dandelions are nature's richest green vegetable source of beta-carotene, from which Vitamin A is created, and the third richest source of Vitamin A of all foods, after cod-liver oil and beef liver! They also are particularly rich in fiber, potassium, iron, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus and the B vitamins, thiamine and riboflavin, and are a good source of protein.
These figures represent only those published by the USDA. Studies in Russia and Eastern Europe by Gerasimova, Racz, Vogel, and Marei (Hobbs 1985) indicate that dandelion is also rich in micronutrients such as copper, cobalt, zinc, boron, and molybdenum, as well as Vitamin D.
Much of what dandelions purportedly do in promoting good health could result from nutritional richness alone. Vogel considers the sodium in dandelions important in reducing inflammations of the liver. Gerasimova, the Russian chemist who analyzed the dandelion for, among other things, trace minerals, stated that "dandelion [is] an example of a harmonious combination of trace elements, vitamins and other biologically active substances in ratios optimal for a human organism" (Hobbs 1985).
Recent research, reported in the Natural Healing and Nutritional Annual, 1989 (Bricklin and Ferguson 1989) on the value of vitamins and minerals indicates that:
* Vitamin A is important in fighting cancers of epithelial tissue, including mouth and lung;
* Potassium rich foods, in adequate quantities, and particularly in balance with magnesium, helps keep blood pressure down and reduces risks of strokes;
* Fiber fights diabetes, lowers cholesterol, reduces cancer and heart disease
risks, and assists in weight loss. High fiber vegetables take up lots of room, are low in calories, and slow down digestion so the food stays in the stomach longer and you feel full longer;
* Calcium in high concentrations can build strong bones and can lower blood pressure;
* B vitamins help reduce stress.
Throughout history, dandelions have had a reputation as being effective in promoting weight loss and laboratory research indicates that there is some support for this reputation. Controlled tests on laboratory mice and rats by the same Romanians indicated that a loss of up to 30% of body weight in 30 days was possible when the animals were fed dandelion extract with their food. Those on grass extract lost much less. The control group on plain water actually gained weight.
Beyond nutritional richness, however, are the active chemical constituents contained in dandelions which may have specific therapeutic effects on the body. These include, as reported by Hobbs (1985):
* Inulin, which converts to fructose in the presence of cold or hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Fructose forms glycogen in the liver without requiring insulin, resulting in a slower blood sugar rise, which makes it good for diabetics and hypoglycemics;
* Tof-CFr, a glucose polymer similar to lentinan, which Japanese researchers have found to act against cancer cells in laboratory mice; Lentinan is a yeast glucan (glucose polymer) that increases resistance against protozoal and viral infections.;
* Pectin, which is anti-diarrheal and also forms ionic complexes with metal ions, which probably contributes to dandelion's reputation as a blood and gastrointestinal detoxifying herb. Pectin is prescribed regularly in Russia to remove heavy metals and radioactive elements from body tissues. Pectin can also lower cholesterol and, combined with Vitamin C, can lower it even more. Dandelion is a good source of both Pectin and Vitamin C;
* Coumestrol, an estrogen mimic which possibly is responsible, at least in part, for stimulating milk flow and altering hormones;
* Apigenin and Luteolin, two flavonoid glycosides which have been demonstrated to have diuretic, anti-spasmodic, anti-oxidant and liver protecting actions and properties, and also to strengthen the heart and blood vessels. They also have anti-bacterial and anti-hypoglycemic properties, and, as estrogen mimics, may also stimulate milk production and alter hormones;
* Gallic Acid, which is anti-diarrheal and anti-bacterial;
* Linoleic and Linolenic Acid, which are essential fatty acids required by the body to produce prostaglandin which regulate blood pressure and such body processes as immune responses which suppress inflammation. These fatty acids can lower chronic inflammation, such as proliferative arthritis, regulate blood pressure and the menstrual cycle, and prevent platelet aggregation;
* Choline, which has been shown to help improve memory;
*Several Sesquiterpene compounds which are what make dandelions bitter. These may partly account for dandelions tonic effects on digestion, liver, spleen and gall bladder, and are highly anti-fungal;
* Several Triterpenes, which may contribute to bile or liver stimulation;
* Taraxasterol, which may contribute to liver and gall bladder health or to hormone altering.
These chemicals, individually, are not unique to dandelions, but the combination of them all in one plant, along with high levels of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, proteins and fiber account for the many claims made regarding the plant.
These claims include the following results of clinical and laboratory research, again as reported in Hobbs (1985):
* A doubling of bile output with leaf extracts, and a quadrupling of bile output with root extract. Bile assists with the emulsification, digestion and absorption of fats, in alkalinizing the intestines and in the prevention of putrefaction. This could explain the effectiveness of dandelion in reducing the effects of fatty foods (heartburn and acid indigestion);
* A reduction in serum cholesterol and urine bilirubin levels by as much as half in humans with severe liver imbalances has been demonstrated by Italian researchers;
* Diuretic effects with a strength approaching that of the potent diuretics Furosemide and Lasix, used for congestive heart failure and cirrhosis of the liver, with none of the serious side effects, were found by Romanian scientists. They found that water extract of dandelion leaves, administered orally, because of its high potassium content, replaced serum potassium electrolytes lost in the urine, eliminating such side effects common with the synthetics as severe potassium depletion, hepatic coma in liver patients, circulatory collapse, and transmission through mothers' milk;
* In 1979 a Japanese patent was filed for a freeze-dried warm water extract of dandelion root for anti-tumor use. It was found that administration of the extract markedly inhibited growth of particular carcinoma cells within one week after treatment;
* Dental researchers at Indiana University in 1982 used dandelion extracts in antiplaque preparations;
* In studies from 1941 to 1952, the French scientist Henri Leclerc demonstrated the effectiveness of dandelion on chronic liver problems related to bile stones. He found that roots gathered in late summer to fall, when they are rich in bitter, white milky latex, should be used for all liver treatments;
* In 1956, Chauvin demonstrated the antibacterial effects of dandelion pollen, which may validate the centuries old use of dandelion flowers in Korean folk medicine to prevent furuncles (boils, skin infections), tuberculosis, and edema and promote blood circulation.
Also, Witt (1983) recommends dandelion tea to alleviate the water buildup in PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome).
There are many testimonials from those who have benefited from the use of dandelions in the treatment of what ailed them.
Robert Stickle, an internationally famous architect, was diagnosed as having a malignant melanoma 21 years ago, and was given, after radical surgery had not halted its spread, less than 2 years to live. He said, in a letter to Jeff Zullo, president of the Society for the Promotion of Dandelions, (June 23, 1986):
" I went on a search for the answer to my mortal problem, and [discovered] that perhaps it was a nutritional dilemma.... To me, cancer is primarily a liver failure manifestation. {Italians are very concerned about problems of the 'fegato']. [I discovered that] the cancer rate in native Italians is very low among the farming population (paesanos). When they get affluent and move to the city, its the same as the rest of civilized man. Paesanos eat dandelions, make brew from the roots, and are healthy, often living to over 100 years."
He states that he began eating dandelion salad every day, and his improvement confounded the doctors. When he wrote the letter in 1986, 18 years had passed and there had been no recurrence of the melanoma.
A benefit which comes from writing articles for national media is that you hear from people who have interesting stories to tell. I recently received a call from Peter Gruchawka, a 70 year old gentleman from Manorville, NY, who reported that he had been diagnosed with diabetes melitis 3 months before and was put on 5 grams of Micronase. At the time, he had a 5+ sugar spillover in his urine. He took Micronase for about a month before he learned, from his wife who is a nurse, that Micronase can do damage to the liver. He had read in "Herbal Medicine" by Diane Buchanan and "Back to Eden" by Jethro Kloss about the effectiveness of dandelions in controlling diabetes. Without saying anything to his doctors, he stopped taking Micronase and began drinking dandelion coffee each day. During the first week, his urinary sugar, measured night and morning, was erratic and unstable, but after a week, his sugar stabilized and when he called, he had been getting negative urine sugar readings for over a month. The doctors are amazed and can't explain it. An interesting side benefit to replacing Micronase with dandelion coffee is that, while Micronase damages the liver as a side effect, dandelions are particularly known for strengthening the liver.
According to Mr. Gruchawka, he changed nothing but the medication. He had cut out pastries and other sugars when he was diagnosed and started on Micronase, and has continued to do without those things while taking dandelion coffee.
In reporting these claims, however, I must add three qualifiers:
1. First, unfortunately, neither herbs nor synthetic remedies work for everyone in the same way. Different bodies respond differently to medicines, and what works incredibly well for one person may not work at all, or work less well, for someone else.
2. Second, good health results from a combination of healthy diet and enough exercise to keep the body toned. Bob Stickle, for all his insistence that dandelions cured him, changed, according to a mutual friend, his entire lifestyle. He didn't just add dandelion salad to what he was already doing.
3. People with health problems need to seek the advice and care of a competent physician, with whom this information can be shared. It is important to reemphasize that it is presented as information only. I am not a medical doctor, and neither advocate nor prescribe dandelions or dandelion products for use by anyone or for any ailment. Only your doctor can do that.
Because there are so many variables, it is hard to attribute Mr. Stickle's cure to any one of them directly. Likewise, Italian farmers live a lifestyle which combines a healthy diet, lots of work and clean air. They heat and cook with wood, which they have to cut and split. They haul water for household use. When they move to the city, diet, exercise, and environmental conditions change. Stress and sedentary habits increase.
And there is the importance of faith in the healing process, whether it be faith in God or faith in the curative properties of the herb being taken.
While dandelions, given all these variables, may never be proved to cure any specific ill, they are an extremely healthy green which cannot in any way hurt you. Research on how much you would have to eat to cause harm indicates that eating grass is more dangerous than eating dandelions (Hobbs 1985). Therefore, with everything going for dandelions, it is highly probable that everyone can derive at least some nutritional benefit from them by eating or drinking them regularly.
The medical and pharmacological establishment is generally critical of claims regarding the use of herbs on disease, and their concerns need to be put in perspective.
Herbal medicines have been used very effectively far longer than synthetics, and many current pharmaceutical products have been derived from research on plants used as medicine by many cultures. The problem with plants, however, is that they are available to anyone. It is impossible to patent a plant, and thereby gain proprietary rights to it. As a consequence, pharmaceutical companies attempt to isolate the active properties from medicinal plants and synthesize them so that they can patent them. Many of the synthetics have serious side-effects which were not present in the natural plant product, often because other chemicals in the plant offset them (i.e. the large quantities of potassium in dandelions which allows for potassium replenishment when dandelion is used as a diuretic).
USDA botanist Dr. James Duke (1989) suggests that a proper and appropriate "herbal soup", filled with "vitamins, minerals, fibers and a whole host of bioactive compounds," from which the body can selectively strain the compounds it needs to restore itself to health, will be more effective than synthetic medicines containing a "very select and specialized compound or two plus filler, usually non-nutritive." This is especially true if the "herbal soup", in the form of a potent potherb like dandelion, is a regular part of the diet so that the appropriate bioactive substances are present in the right amounts when the body needs them.

nation’s airports is being adapted for cell phone use. Studies of
terahertz radiation have caused experts to raise alarms over the
significant health risks to humans.
Recently major media touted a new chip that permits the adaption of a THz generating device to be embedded into cellular phones.
Is the price for seeing through walls, a grisly death?
The
excited press painted grand pictures of such technology being used by
consumers to see through walls and objects, while health professionals
like physcians might incorporate the technology to seek out small tumors
inside patients without the need for invasive surgery.
The
THz wave—located between microwaves and infrared on the electromagnetic
spectrum—was chosen for security devices because it penetrates matter
such as clothing, wood, paper and other porous material that’s
non-conducting. At the time experts believed this type of radiation was
harmless.
They were wrong.
From this… To this…?
THz radiation unzips the DNA molecule
In
a breakthrough study conducted by Dr. Boian Alexandrov at the Center
for Nonlinear Studies at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico
and a team of physicists, they discovered terrifying evidence that
exposure to THz radiation builds cumulatively and affects human and
animal tissue DNA. In essence, it tends to unzip the DNA molecule. [See:
Inside TSA scanners: How terahertz waves tear apart human DNA]
The Los Alamos scientists paper, DNA Breathing Dynamics in the Presence of a Terahertz Field
reveals very disturbing—even shocking—evidence that THz radiation
significantly damages the DNA of the people being directed through
airport scanners and all TSA workers in close proximity to the machines.
Their synopsis: “We
consider the influence of a terahertz field on the breathing dynamics
of double-stranded DNA. We model the spontaneous formation of spatially
localized openings of a damped and driven DNA chain, and find that
linear instabilities lead to dynamic dimerization, while true local
strand separations require a threshold amplitude mechanism. Based on our
results we argue that a specific terahertz radiation exposure may
significantly affect the natural dynamics of DNA, and thereby influence
intricate molecular processes involved in gene expression and DNA
replication.“
What
all that means is the resonant effects of the THz waves bombarding
humans unzips the double-stranded DNA molecule. This ripping apart of
the twisted chain of DNA creates bubbles between the genes that can
interfere with the processes of life itself: normal DNA replication and
critical gene expression.
Likely to cause cancer
David
J. Brenner, a Columbia University doctor and expert on the effects of
radiation stated that it’s quite likely the TSA scanners will cause
cancer in some individuals.
Brenner, whose Columbia’s Center for Radiological
Research work focuses on radiation’s effects on biological processes,
low exposure risk evaluation and radio-isotopic therapy, is concerened
that people with compromised immune systems such as AIDS patients, those
suffering from lupus or other immune-deficient ailments are especially
at risk. Infants, children up to age 5 or 6, women who are pregnant or
lactating, cancer patients and many more should steer far clear of the
machines.
DNA strand bombarded by THz radiation unzips
Those
exposed to THz radiation—whether from security scanners or future cell
phone technology—who are taking certain prescription medications or have significantly low levels of certain vitamins have increased risk of radiation induced carcinomas.
Repeated exposure to low level radiation scans can also lead to cataracts and bring on skin cancer—including deadly melanoma.
A CMOS chip used in many different products
THz to utilize existing CMOS chips
According to the Daily Mail,
the chips—created using Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor—or CMOS
use the same technology already incorporated into devices like HD TVs,
smart phones and personal computers.
Dr.
Kenneth O, professor of electrical engineering at the University of
Texas at Dallas and leader of the project explained to the Daily Mail
that “We’ve created approaches that open a previously untapped portion
of the electromagnetic spectrum for consumer use and life-saving medical
applications.
“CMOS
is affordable and can be used to make lots of chips,” Dr. O said. “The
combination of CMOS and terahertz means you could put this chip and
receiver on the back of a cellphone, turning it into a device carried in
your pocket that can see through objects.”
The
team’s findings were presented to an enthusiastic audience at the 2012
International Solid-State Circuits Conference held in San Francisco, California. Next the team plans to create the CMOS terahertz imaging system.
Before moving ahead with the project, the good doctor and his team might consider contacting Dr. Boian Alexandrov and his team at Los Alamos to compare notes.
It
would be a shame if a deadly technology that could eventually kill or
sicken millions of people were unknowingly sold across the world.
First Evidence Of Parallel Universes Our Universe Could Be Part Of A Soap Bubble
6 April, 2012
MessageToEagle.com -
The idea that our Universe could be a small component within a vast
assemblage of other universes that together make up a "multiverse"
has been treated by physicists as intriguing, but so far it has remained
in the realm of theory without any experimental tests that could
support it.
That might change now when a team of scientists has found evidence that other universes, as well as our own actually lie within "bubbles" of space and time.
"It would be a pretty amazing thing to show that we have actually made physical contact in another universe," George Efstathiou University of Cambridge said.
The theory that invokes these bubble universes is a theory formally called "eternal inflation". According to this theory, such universes are popping into and out of existence and colliding all the time, with the space between them rapidly expanding, meaning that they are forever out of reach of one another.
Dr Peiris' team first proposed these disc-shaped signatures in the CMB in a paper published
in Physical Review Letters, and the
new work fleshes out the idea, putting numbers to how many bubble
universes we may be able to see now.
Crucially, they used a computer program that looked for these discs automatically - reducing the chance that one of the collaborators would see the expected shape in the data when it was not in fact there.
The team has located possible "bubble universe" evidence in WMAP data
The programs' results revealed that particular areas that look likely to
be signatures of the bubble universes, where the bubbles were 10 times
more likely
than the standard theory to explain the variations that the team saw in
the CMB.
Despite these interesting results, Dr. Peiris says we should not jump to conclusions. More scientific work needs to be done before researchers can be confident they have found evidence of the existence of the "multiverse".
"My own personal view is that it will need new physics to solve this problem," he told BBC News.
"But just because there are profound theory difficulties doesn't mean one shouldn't take the picture seriously."
Although there could be many universes next to our own, we will never see them direclty.
Dr Peiris said that even if these bubble universes were confirmed, we could never learn anything further about them.
"It would be wonderful to be able to go outside our bubble, but it's not going to be possible," she explained.
"They're born close together - that's when the collision happens - and this same inflation happens between the bubbles. They're being hurled apart and space-time is expanding faster than light between them."
But Professor Efstathiou said the search was inherently worth it. He explained: "It would be a pretty amazing thing to show that we have actually made physical contact in another universe. It's a long shot, but it would be very profound for physics."

Of course, due to the difficulties proving the theory many scientists have remain cautious.
I'd heard about this 'multiverse' for years and years, and I never took
it seriously because I thought it's not testable," Dr Hiranya Peiris, a
cosmologist at University College London.
"I was just amazed by the idea that you can test for all these other universes out there - it's just mind-blowing." Dr. Peiris and her colleagues have now worked out that when these universes are created adjacent to our own, they may leave a characteristic pattern in the cosmic microwave background (CMB) - the faint glow left from our Universe's formation. |

"Finding just four patches is not necessarily going to give you a good probability on the full sky.
That's not statistically strong enough to either rule it out or to say
that there is a collision," Dr. Peiris explained in an interview with
BBC.
Data from the Planck telescope that is especially designed to study CMB with far greater sensitivity, will put the multiverse idea on a firmer footing, or refute it. However, the data from Planck cannot be discussed publicly before January 2013. George Efstathiou, director of the Kavli Institute of Cosmology at the University of Cambridge, called the work "the first serious attempt to search for something like this from the methodology point of view it's interesting". He noted that the theories that invoked the multiverse were fraught with problems, because they dealt in so many intangible or immeasurable quantities. |

Seeing with Your Skin
Does seeing through skin cells sound like crazy science fiction to you?
Think again. Professor Leonid Yaroslavsky, a researcher from Tel Aviv
University, Israel, thinks that humans have an ability to see through
their skin. This discovery may lead to new therapies that could help the
blind see.
Professor Yaroslavsky believes that human skin can "see" colors and shapes. He created an optic-less imaging model which is likely to lead to a new form of optical imaging technology which may solve the limitations of existing lens-based imaging devices. His model may also explain how this controversial ancient instinct, which is observable in some plants and animals, might have evolved over millions of years.
Yaroslavsky says that while there are people claiming to have an ability to see with their skin, biologists usually dismiss this possibility. He thinks there is probably a perfectly scientific explanation for this phenomenon and believes that once it's understood, skin vision could lead to new therapies for helping the blind regain sight and even read.
Scientists are familiar with manifestations of skin vision in nature. Plants orient themselves to light and some animals can see without the use of eyes (for example pit vipers, which use infrared vision, and reptiles, which possess skin sensors). Skin vision in humans is probably a natural atavistic ability involving light-sensitive cells in our skin connected the central and peripheral nervous systems.
Professor Yaroslavsky is working on a theoretical framework for skin vision and developing imaging simulation theories by using computer software. These theories may lead to future devices with practical applications. He says that such devices will end up having distinct advantages over conventional optics-based imaging. He expects these devices to have special sensors for detecting radiation at sea and in airports to indentify terrorist threats, innovative night vision devices or near-weightless mechanisms to steer spaceships in space.
The lenses currently used for optics-based imaging have many problems. They only work within a limited range of electromagnetic radiation. Relatively, these are still costly devices greatly limited by weight and field of view. The imaging Professor Yaroslavsky has in mind has no lenses and he believes the devices can be adapted to any kind of radiation and wavelength. They could essentially work with a 360-degree field of view and their imaging capability will only be determined by computer power rather than the laws of light diffraction.
But before all these dreams come true, the crucial mission of convincing biologists to take a chance on his theories still stands before Professor Yaroslavsky. Biologists' input is necessary to move the research to the more practical level.
TFOT has recently covered a worm that can sense light through simple photoreceptors discovered at the University of Michigan. We also brought you the smart contact lenses that can help glaucoma patients to measure their current risk factor developed at the University of California, Davis.

Money Bomb Against Monsanto
The Right to Know Gentically Engineered Food Act
This Act will require food manufacturers to identify genetically engineered ingredients on the labels of foods sold in California.When California voters pass this ballot initiative, the Label Genetically Engineered Food Act will also not allow the common practice of mislabeling genetically engineered foods as "natural" or "all natural." It's imperative to understand why this initiative is so important and how it can affect all Americans, regardless of where you live.
California has the eighth largest economy in the world, so passing a labeling law for genetically engineered foods in California can have the same impact as passing a federal law.
Large food companies are unlikely to accept having dual labeling; one for California and another for the rest of the country. It would be an expensive logistical nightmare, not to mention a massive PR problem.
To avoid the dual labeling, many would likely opt to not include using any genetically engineered ingredients in their product, especially if the new label would be the equivalent of a skull and crossbones. Those who opt not to replace GE ingredients from the get-go will likely find themselves unable to sell their products, as a majority of consumers reportedly will not buy foods once they know they're genetically engineered. Unable to sell their products, such companies will eventually be forced to stop contaminating our food with genetically engineered ingredients, or risk going out of business.
This is what happened in Europe and over 40 countries around the world. It can happen in the U.S. This is why we can't leave California to battle the biotech giants on their own. They need your help! Donating funds to this campaign may be the best money you'll spend all year to safeguard your health, and the health of your children.

Detox your Dwelling and Purify your Indoor air with PLANTS!
The National Aeronautic and Space Agency (NASA) researched plants'
abilities to eliminate air pollutants, presumably to determine how
to decorate a space station and help the air stay oxygenated and
fresh.
NASA recommends placing 15 to 18 of your choices from their researched plants in an 1800 square foot or 167 square meter dwelling or office. Obviously, less are required for smaller spaces. Just make sure the plants are as large as possible for their types.
These plants can help reduce all sorts of serious air pollutants, even benzene, formaldehyde and trichloroethylene, as well as microbial pathogens. Living in low pollution areas still leaves you with chemicals released from particle boards and fiber glass insulation materials. The plants reduce air toxins and carbon dioxide while increasing oxygen levels and humidity.
You won't need all the different types of indoor plants, of course. The options are yours from which to choose for monetary and aesthetic reasons. NASA's choices are:

David Ickes Moon Matrix Theory explained
April 17, 2012 from

David Icke’s “Moon Matrix” theory is the point where people believe he has tipped into straight up madness.
DAVID ICKE is an English writer, public speaker, and former media personality best known for his views on what he calls,
David Icke’s “Moon Matrix” theory is the point where people believe he has tipped into straight up madness.
Anyone who has followed Icke’s
progression of theories knows that he has transitioned into deeper
and deeper levels of understanding, and if you’ve made it past his
reptilian-shape shifting material, then the moon matrix stuff
shouldn’t be so difficult to grasp.
The Moon Matrix theory stems from Icke’s virtual reality hypothesis. He says that our world was created by an advanced being for the purpose of experiencing something beyond the oneness-one consciousness existence that we have all originated from.
We experience this physical reality, and then go back to the one source when our physical bodies die. All of our laws of physics are just "software" rules created by this advanced being.
The virtual reality world we experience isn't what it was intended to be, by our advanced creator. We aren’t able to access the full potential of what this earthly experience was meant to embody. We don’t understand this because all we’ve ever known is our five senses of touch, smell, see, taste, and hear.
There are several more senses and abilities that we can’t lock into.
This idea could be expressed as an example of when some spiritual mediums are able to communicate with the dead. Most people will discount the medium as scam artist, when in fact there are several legitimate mediums that can harness this ability. We all have these abilities, we just don’t know how to grasp them and use them properly.

Most people will discount the medium as scam artist, when in fact there are several legitimate mediums that can harness this ability. We all have these abilities, we just don’t know how to grasp them and use them properly.
Why is this? It is because of the Moon
Matrix theory.
Icke believes that the reptilians have closed off the many frequencies that we can't sense currently, similar to a firewall on a PC. This firewall/transmission comes from the moon and it blocks certain abilities that are embedded in our physical bodies, but unknown to us. He says black holes resonate at a frequency that in turn, dictates how much of the awareness is emitted by the sun in the form of photons.

This firewall/transmission comes from the moon and it blocks certain abilities that are embedded in our physical bodies, but unknown to us. He says black holes resonate at a frequency that in turn, dictates how much of the awareness is emitted by the sun in the form of photons.
This begs the question:
what would the emission of photons from the sun do that affects our bodies and prevents us from accessing our abilities?
There is an energy force called Ch’i, which flows through the body’s
meridian network.
Ch’i is sort of like the Star Wars’ force, where
our life energy flows throughout our body and links our body to the
environmental surroundings all around us. It enters our body through
acupuncture points and flows through our tissues and illness occurs
when these acupuncture points become blocked up (or any part of the
energy path for that matter).
This Ch’i energy is believed to be a
form of photon energy.
Photon energy is released by atomic
processes and we observe this phenomenon as light. Whether or not
Ch’i is in fact photon energy or not is beyond me, but Icke asserts
that it is
in his book. That being said, if we take our body’s life
energy to be photon energy, then we could say that there might be a
relation between photon energy emitted by the Sun and what we
experience in bodily form.
Since I’m no expert on astronomy or Chinese energy, we’ll just have to make these assumptions to be true so that we can press on with this theory to understand what Icke is saying.
Icke believes that the moon is an interdimensional, interdensity portal for entities and energies from other dimensions. He believes that aliens use the moon as a home base for hijacking signals from the universe so that our bodily forms that are experiencing this virtual reality on Earth, can’t fully experience what our creator meant for it to be.

These aliens are the same reptilian
shape-shifters that Icke claims are responsible for much of the
suffering on our planet. Reptilians want to filter anything beyond
our five senses so that it manipulates what kind of world we can
experience.
The reptilians keep us locked into these five states because it is a much lower density experience.
The reptilians keep us locked into these five states because it is a much lower density experience.
Low frequency experiences include
division, conflict, and emotional trauma, all of which are created
by capitalistic, war hungry, religious zealot nations. The higher
frequencies of experience are ones of harmony and understanding how
we are all connected (similar to a life energy force of Ch’i, freely
flowing).
This higher state of consciousness is
what the ancient cultures understood in the supposed Golden Ages of
time and this is when the various mysteries were created. These
megaliths such as the
Great Pyramids of Giza, or the
Puma Punku
stones are all expressions of what our ancient cultures wanted us to
be aware of.
Icke claims that Einstein's theory of light being the fastest anything can travel is false; it is simply the speed limit the reptilian firewall imposes on us. Icke says when you break this speed barrier you leave the matrix.
Icke claims that Einstein's theory of light being the fastest anything can travel is false; it is simply the speed limit the reptilian firewall imposes on us. Icke says when you break this speed barrier you leave the matrix.
This is how the UFOs and reptilians
travel interdimensionally. This is why weird things appear to happen
to us as we approach the speed of light (it is actually perceived by
the observer since we can't comprehend these things, thanks to the
aforementioned firewall).
At first I believed this part of Icke’s
theory to be without merit, but in the news I read about an Italian
professor who was challenging Einstein’s theory of relativity and
how he arguably might’ve sent bits of matter whirling at speeds
faster than the speed of light. This observation was later proven
incorrect, but it appears that there may be challenges to Einstein
still in process.
Another key element to support Icke’s theory of the existence of this reptilian firewall is the discussion of dark matter. Dark matter is called "dark" because it’s not in the spectrum that telescopes (or human beings) can see.
Another key element to support Icke’s theory of the existence of this reptilian firewall is the discussion of dark matter. Dark matter is called "dark" because it’s not in the spectrum that telescopes (or human beings) can see.
Dark matter doesn't emit electromagnetic
radiation (e.g. infrared, UV, radio, x-ray or gamma) so it’s
undetectable, hence “dark.” Dark matter just sits in a different
frequency range than what we know (due to the firewall).
The electromagnetic spectrum that we can
detect is only 0.005 percent of what exists in the entire universe
(with visible light being only a tiny fraction of that). By default,
dark matter is a large majority of our universe that we cannot
detect, so who are we to say that concepts like a firewall or
virtual reality matrix are impossible.
The connection between the moon and earth is crystalline. There are quartz crystals all over the planet, and they generate/convert waveforms to a particular frequency.
The connection between the moon and earth is crystalline. There are quartz crystals all over the planet, and they generate/convert waveforms to a particular frequency.
The crystals in earth are there to be
receiver/transmitters, sort of like re-broadcasters of signals.
These signals are from the sun’s photons. The moon has hacked that
connection and transmits its own message to us, which our DNA picks
up (our DNA is like an antenna) and it is used to manipulate our
senses and emotions.
Our bodies (the antennas) must be tuned
to this moon frequency so they keep us in low frequency vibrations
through the food we eat, pollution, vaccines, music, images, films,
etc. that keep us held in states of fear from which the reptilians
feed off of.
This is yet another bold step for the reader to take in order to follow along Icke’s journey.

He believes that reptilians feed off of
these “low-density” energies that we emit when we experience
negative things such as,
fear disaster war violence, etc.
When our
bodies experience these things we emit an energy that sits in a
certain frequency range in which these reptilian shape shifters may
feed off of.
They use this as a form of sustenance to
shape shift into more human forms so they can directly come to our
planet and manipulate us for the time being. The reptilians have
also created a hybrid bloodline (what we know as
the “Illuminati”)
who have mostly human attributes that can do the reptilians’ bidding
here on Earth.
They have been doped with a slightly different bodily
composition that allows them to be more directly manipulated than
the entire human race.
Those are the basics of the Moon Matrix theory of David Icke.
Those are the basics of the Moon Matrix theory of David Icke.
I’ve glossed over them very quickly, so
feel free to read it straight from his book for more supporting
facts. Whether or not I personally believe this is still in limbo.
Setting the Moon Matrix idea aside, the moon has been known to
influence human behavior.
Icke asserts that the Moon is capable of
blocking certain abilities of
the pineal gland, which is our “third”
eye that connects us with this one-consciousness idea. The ancient
Egyptians did in fact hold this same worship of the pineal gland to
be the third eye, so there could very well be a connection that
needs explored.
Icke’s Moon Matrix theory may sound
far-fetched, but it sets a path up for which we can begin to explore
the possibility.

“who and what is really controlling the world”.
David is one of the most
controversial speakers and authors in the world.
He has written 16 books explaining his
position and has attracted a substantial following across the
political spectrum. In the first hour of this interview, David
begins talking about the new vibrations that are coming into the
world to replace the old ones. He says it is not a time for the
faint-hearted.
The control system in clamping down harder than ever
as more people are waking up to it.
“The moon is a satellite that was constructed. It was built and anchored outside Earth’s atmosphere as a mediating and monitoring device, a supercomputer or ‘eye in the sky’.It affects all life forms on this planet, beyond what you can currently grasp. In your history there are references to two moons around earth…”

David says it is a time to listen to
what feels right, not what sounds right.
Then, he discusses the wide reaches and
purpose of the current control system which is light years beyond
us. David talks about the cosmic firewall that is in place between
humanity and true information.
This leads us into discussing the moon
matrix. It is possible the moon is being used as a blocking device
from decoding real information that would change the world of
humanity and also beaming other frequencies which deceive the masses
and protect those in control.

Starbucks to stop using red food colouring made from crushed beetles.
NEW YORK - Starbucks Corp. says it will stop using a red dye in its drinks that is derived from crushed bugs.
The Seattle-based coffee chain said in a blog post on its website Thursday that it made the decision to reformulate its drinks after feedback from consumers prompted a "thorough" evaluation.
The company says it will swap out cochineal extract, which is made from the juice of a tiny beetle, and instead use lycopene, a tomato-based extract.

Human genes engineered into experimental GMO rice being grown in Kansas
Wednesday, May 02, 2012 by: Ethan A. Huff, staff writer
(NaturalNews) Unless the rice you buy is certified organic, or comes specifically from a farm that tests its rice crops for genetically modified (GM) traits, you could be eating rice tainted with actual human genes. The only known GMO with inbred human traits in cultivation today, a GM rice product made by biotechnology company Ventria Bioscience is currently being grown on 3,200 acres in Junction City, Kansas -- and possibly elsewhere -- and most people have no idea about it.
Since about 2006, Ventria has been quietly cultivating rice that has been genetically modified (GM) with genes from the human liver for the purpose of taking the artificial proteins produced by this "Frankenrice" and using them in pharmaceuticals. With approval from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Ventria has taken one of the most widely cultivated grain crops in the world today, and essentially turned it into a catalyst for producing new drugs.

We feel that the main reason why we had such a peaceful birth and why Oria is as healthy and happy as she is, is due to the amazing information shared by the speakers who are appearing in this Summit.
It was Ingrid Bauer's book that enabled us to understand how to raise Oria Diaper Fre*e, for example. It was Laura Shanley's book that gave us the confidence to do an unassisted birth without any hospitals, midwifes or doulas. It was Shazzie's book which gave us the information on getting specific and key nutrients for Oria's growth such as DHA and choline for brain development. It was Elena Vladirimova who taught us how to clean up and transmute any dramas from our own birthing experiences. Naomi Aldort's book taught us how to communicate and cooperate with our child after she was born, and the list goes on and on.
You can only imagine how excited we were to be able to interv!ew each one of these amazing people! In each one of these interviews, we asked the most important questions that we believe you'd love to know the answers to as well.
